Ethnic Jazz-Rock

Common Bond featuring a combination of ethnic - jazz - rock world Music, written and arranged especially for this ensemble. The members of the ensemble come from a wide range of musical backgrounds: from Classical music through Rock & Jazz to Ethnic music. Each player contributes his own style and experience.

Common Bond features a rich, warm and unique sound. Common Bond’s “Ethnic-World-Jazz Music” is inspired by motives from the Balkan, the Middle-East and Afro-Latin areas, while using unique musical instruments such as Oboe, Zurna, Shehnai, Duduk, Didgeridoo and others.

Since the ensemble's foundation, Common Bond has participated with great success in national and international major festivals such as the Ottawa international Jazz festival, the 400 celebration of Quebec city, the International Jazz festival in Johannesburg, the Red Sea Jazz festival and many others. Its performances were recorded for the radio and TV.

Common Bond’s music can be described as a journey through an intricate web of musical styles, uniting on stage to form a warm and homogeneous picture of a pure love for music.
